Toshiba: DCL52xx00 Series dual-channel digital isolators for industrial equipment.
Toshiba Electronic Devices & Storage Corporation (https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/ap-en/top.html) (“Toshiba”) has launched four dual-channel, high-speed standard digital isolators for industrial equipment. The new “DCL52xx00 Series” products support stable operation with high common mode transient immunity (CMTI) of 100kV/μs (typ.)[1] and high-speed data rate of 150Mbps (max)[2]. Shipments start today.
The channel configuration of “DCL520C00 (https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/kr/semiconductor/product/isolators-solid-state-relays/standard-digital-isolators/detail.DCL520C00.html)” and “DCL520D00 (https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/kr/semiconductor/product/isolators-solid-state-relays/standard-digital-isolators/detail.DCL520D00.html)” is two forward channels, while “DCL521C00 (https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/kr/semiconductor/product/isolators-solid-state-relays/standard-digital-isolators/detail.DCL521C00.html)” and “DCL521D00 (https://toshiba.semicon-storage.com/kr/semiconductor/product/isolators-solid-state-relays/standard-digital-isolators/detail.DCL521D00.html)” have one forward channel and one reverse channel. These new dual-channel products join the previously released quad-channel products in “DCL54xx01 Series” as standard digital isolators for industrial equipment. With the addition of these new products, Toshiba’s overall lineup now covers 14 products, offering a wide selection of channel configurations and helping to improve design flexibility.
In addition, a low pulse width distortion of 0.8ns (typ.)[3] and a high-speed data rate of 150Mbps (max) are also achieved. The new products are suitable for multi-channel high-speed communication applications such as I/O interfaces with UART[4] and I2C [5] communication.
Toshiba has already started mass production of standard digital isolators for industrial equipment and automotive equipment. Going forward, the company will increase the lineup of packages and number of channels in both areas. It will continue to provide high-quality isolation devices and photocouplers that support the reliability and real-time data transmission required by industrial and automotive equipment.
